Desert tones, fiery sequins, and detailed prints dominated the runway at the Son Jung Wan Spring 2014 Collection presented at Lincoln Center during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. “My inspiration was Morocco,” the designer kindly explained.
The source of Wan’s creativity was evident as every look passed one after another—faces from first row to studio standing gleamed with excitement during the entire show. The collection featured structured blazers, hand-beaded dresses, and multicolor-hued men's shirts
Structured and classic—yet, relaxed and playful—any piece from this collection can be worn either to the office or effortlessly during vacation in Marrakesh. Wan’s ability to create jarring looks, while maintaining a clean, sophisticated aesthetic makes the collection accessible to everyone, from the busy executive to the posh jetsetter.
